north somerset show

Every year on May Day Bank Holiday, the North Somerset Show is held on fields near my parents home.
A chance for the local farmers show the rest of the country what they are made of.
There are livestock shows, stunt dog displays, pony club events, tractor pulling, archery, clay pidgeon shooting and the usual marquees of best cakes, crafts etc.
This is the first time we have taken the boys… and wow they loved it.
Animals for my nature loving Ru and Tractors for engineering Charlie.
A good day, helped with great weather.

  • Dang, missed the show but love your photo of the BIG bull and most of all that HUGE smarty biscuit! You are truly blessed xx

  • Looks amazing – we were going to head there but went to Redland Fair instead, so great to see your pics. Maybe meet you there next year?

  • What smashing fun- that tractor wheel looks like a comfy seat and I’m loving Dan’s hula-hooping! x
