Half term camping…

Littlegreenshed Lifestyle blogOh it’s May Bank Holiday and half term.  We are looking forward to a week long family break, spent rolling through fields of buttercups, pressing flowers. Gathering elderflower for cordial making. Family bike rides, tree climbing, den building and more…
This afternoon we are off for 3 nights camping in the Forest of Dean. I say camping, it’s not really, more like glamping, on a large glamping scale.  No ‘roughing it’.  Proper beds, log burner, on suite shower room.  An on site cafe with pizza oven.  Oh yes, it’s going to be good.
The boys are ridiculously excited.  They discovered the site has a tree house and TWO zip slides. They. are. sold.  Dan and I are looking forward to kicking back, reading (no wifi signal, which means an enforced technology abstinence, gulp!). Enjoying the bird song, and star gazing at night.
I am also delighted to discover that Baileys is just down the road – ooooooh! you might find I’ve taken up camp there instead!
Have a lovely week, see you on my return.
p.s. #natureinthehome will be a day later this week.  Thursday.  Looking forward to seeing all you inspiring creations when I get back.
