Fuerteventura – Hotel Club Magic Life…

So we are back.  Back from a glorious week of Winter sun in Fuerteventura.  From start to finish it was an experience of epic proportions.  The hotel, the beach, the food…

This was our first time taking the boys overseas.  Seeing their faces light up and squeal with excitement at every given opportunity, was priceless.  The flight, that warm breeze as the plane door opened, to spotting palm trees and the sea!

Once we landed we met our lovely First Choice rep and were taken to our hotel by taxi. Winding our way through the Island with the ocean on one side and magnificent volcanic mountains on the other, we couldn’t help beaming at each other at the sight of it all.

Club Magic Life is AMAZING!  We were greeted in reception with a glass of fizz and warm smile. Told briefly about the facilities and shown to our room.  The room, was family sized, an enormous comfortable super king for Dan and I and an equally comfy double sofa bed for the boys.  The best bit of our room was the view.  Out on the balcony we had reaching views above palm trees to the pool and the sea beyond.

We filled our days with a mix of poolside playing, running in and out of the wild sea and digging in the white sandy beach below the hotel.  The boys got involved with kids club activities.  We ate well in the many restaurants (there was lots of eating).  In the evening we played games of pool or cards and watched a couple of shows (think variety entertainment) in the theatre.  Oh and cocktails, did I mention those!

The boys made friends with another boy, Jack. Inseparable.

The boys LOVED the kids club.  They were in the middle group for kids aged 7 – 12 years.  Each morning after breakfast (9.45am)  they would meet the entertainment rep who took them and the other children to their morning activity.

The boys learnt archery, scuba diving, tennis, table tennis, football, beach volley ball and swimming.  So for an hour and half each morning, they would be entertained and we, well we drank a coffee in peace.

First Choice is the home of the all inclusive holiday.  I always thought all inclusive meant just the food and soft drinks, but we were over the moon to discover that all the entertainment, kids club and activities within the hotel were included too.  Even alcohol and cocktails!

First Choice invited us to Fuerteventura so we could review their hotel, to enjoy some Winter sunshine and to shoot some images for their latest campaign #allyoucan.  If you hop over to the First Choice blog you will find out more about it and see the other people involved, including Will Taylor of Bright Bazaar who is in Mauritius at the moment, lucky thing!

I shall be back to tell you more about our day trip around the island and also that beautiful beach.

    • Hi Donna

Thank you, yes we did. Pretty perfect. But to be honest it was only sunny for two of those days. But warm.

  • Ooo lovely Lou. All inclusive has been a real eye opener for me (we are another First Choice blogger family).
We travelled to Egypt and, with two older kids, I did worry we wouldn’t find enough to occupy them as they are always on the go. We had THE best week. Genuinely impressed

    • Hi Tara ! It was brilliant wasn’t it? I am an all inclusive convert now. It was epic!
