The Good Life Experience ticket giveaway….

Littlegreenshed blog - good life experience

Last year was the very first The Good Life Experience festival.  A weekend in September where we got back to basics, learnt new crafts, made new friends and danced the night away.  It was utterly brilliant –  all courtesy of the Gladstones and Cerys Matthews.

We camped with friends old and new, the kids ran wild, enjoying the free fairground rides, scoffing candy floss and lighting fires in the woods.

I enrolled in a spoon carving workshop with the brilliant EJ of Hatchet + Bear.  In those two hours I learned the skills to transform a branch into a beautiful spoon.  Hooked evermore on whittling.

During the weekend, we chatted with friends, met brilliant people. Learnt skills like restoring axe heads, cooking outdoors,  and delicious recipes from Bill Grainger and Tom Herbert.  Plus we indulged in great food, vintage shopping from Pedlars and then dancing the night away to foot stomping bands.
