something for the weekend week 2

Ah it’s the weekend, gosh I need it so much.  The boys are happily slowing down to the Half Term, they are so so tired after what was a busy few weeks at school.  I couldn’t be happier having my two companions with me next week – adventures a plenty!  We aren’t travelling far, but will explore this City, the countryside and see friends – all kinds of perfect.

What are you up to?  Camping, going abroad?  Do tell?

A few things around the web that have caught my eye…

  • Toast – my wonderful sponsors of Sisterhood.  Thank you guys you officially rock.
  • Seeds and Stitches  –  I love Hannah’s new series ‘Soulful Homes’ and this house is full of soul and character.  Hannah is a brilliant stylist, and is a valued team member of Sisterhood.
  • The 5 O’clock apron – Claire’s cooking is out of this world. I was lucky enough to have lunch at her home on Thursday.  Seriously you need this book.
  • The pretties cake ever!  Apple Blossom.

Have a wonderful weekend all…..

  • I LOVE CLAIRE’S 5 O CLOCK APRON BOOK, LUCKY YOU HAVING LUNCH WITH HER! HAVE A WONDERFUL HALF TERM BREAK! X

  • We are hoping to get out and about in the fresh air as much as possible burning off energy and having fun in not having any structure . Having lots of freedom to do what we want. Love the 5 p
O’clock apron book and blog. Book is on order so hopefully will come soon.

  • Those Apple Blossom cakes – omg they look fab!

My kids are off school next weeks so we are hoping to have a few days out with grandma and granddad! Weather permitting, we are hoping to get over to the Farne Islands by boat to see the puffins and seals and visit Holy Island to see the castle! We like by the sea so lots of walks, and hopefully a picnic down there too! Fingers crossed for sunshine! Have a lovely bank holiday weekend Lou x
