Out there interiors, brass hanging planter…

Littlegreenshed natureinthehome

I’m a little bit smitten with my new brass planter.  I’ve been lusting after one since I saw it on my mate Katy’s blog (Apartment Apothecary).  It looks wonderful in her new bedroom.  You know me, plant geek extraordinaire, well I had to have one.  A chance to have a trailing plant in my own bedroom – I needed it! Honest, I did!

So today, Charlie and I went to the local garden centre, after school, and chose a new plant specifically for it.  We came back with this beauty, a Ceropegia woodii or Sweetheart Vine. So sweet! Look it’s perfect little grey heart shaped leaves, it’s so unusual.

After potting it up, I also hung it my bedroom, and it looks fantastic against the grey walls. What do you think? Want one too?

Out There Interiors (where the planter is from) are kindly collaborating with me in this weeks #natureinthehome. This weeks favourite image will win a planter.  Just upload your found, foraged, grown or gathered items from nature to Instagram.  Tag it with #natureinthehome and @littlegreenshed and @outthereinteriors, so we can find it.

Winner will be announced here on the blog on Thursday.  Good luck!
