Flowers make everything better, everything. I swear. They make me so happy, bring colour and joy to the house and lift ones spirits.
My mum has recently had a lot on her plate. Last summer they moved to a Georgian town house in a new town, downsizing but upping the stress. The house was a wreck. Every single room as been ripped apart and made new. During the winter months, they had a gaping hole in the back of the house, waiting for the new extension to be built. The kitchen was ripped out and she muddled on without complaint.
Add to this my Nan has taken ill. Spending months in hospital (now thankfully back home), my Mum has spent hours on the M4 visiting her mother, being carer. Worrying and stressful times for us all.So back to flowers. As a way of showing my love, appreciation and care I sent her a bouquet of blooms through Serenata Flowers. Pink roses, scented phlox, lavender and white bishops flower and lilac coloured stocks. A beautiful arrangement with a gorgeous scent. My mum, was delighted to receive such a bouquet, and arranged them on her mantel. It’s the little things that really can lift ones spirit.
