We’ve been doing a bit of changing rooms over the holidays, converting my old studio into Rufus’ bedroom, splitting them up for the very first time. He is delighted to have his own space, be it small, it is perfect for him to grow, develop and enjoy some ‘me’ time. I don’t know if your kids still share a bedroom, but at aged 9 and 7, the bedtime routine was either a riot of laughter or a battle ground. Separate rooms was a must!
If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen my many posts about the beautiful bed linen from The Secret Linen Store. I have enjoyed many a day dream among the soft linen sheets (shhh don’t tell anyone, I should be working!).
So when Molly emailed asking if I’d like to try their new kids range, I thankfully agreed. Newly launched, the kids range is a beautiful mix of contemporary patterns, colours and soft cotton fabric, perfect for any modern kids bedroom.
I chose the stars bedding set in charcoal, Rufus was instantly impressed. In his words ‘It’s like Star Wars, the good and the dark side’. One happy boy.
For me, the bedding is soft, modern and easy to wash. The colour scheme fits well with his style of bedroom, but can equally go with a more vintage / cottage style. All 100% Cotton with a soft laundered finish, perfect for young skin.
Rufus now sleeps soundly in his new room (no more shouting!) – thank goodness.
