Nomads clothing – ethical and beautiful…

Littlegreenshed UK Lifestyle and Travel Blog - Nomads clothing

A few weeks ago, I was invited to attend a beautiful evening by Nomads Clothing.  Hels Martin, friend and fellow SISTERHOOD member, had organised a press event here in Bristol. A chance for us to really discover the beauty of Nomads and to try on a few of their current collection.

The event was held at Harts Bakery, an archway space close to Temple Meads station. By day Harts serves delicious bread and pastries (their custard tarts sell out in minutes), by night, well Hels had transformed the space in to glittering Nomadic boudoir.

Heading straight to the clothing rail I discovered beautiful block printed textiles in earthy berry hues.  Bloggers and journo’s were all trying items on, to take home with them.  I could quite decide between the Ista Mosaic Boho dress or the Kimono jacket.  In the end I played it safe and went for the cord tunic dress in teal.  Safe? Or perhaps classic.  I know that a good cord dress will see me through each Autumn / Winter for years to come.

During the evening I met Miss Magpie Spy who drew me in the tunic.  I love this picture so much! She made me look thinner – win!

Also at the event was other SISTER! Bethan John and her brother Joe who both own the beautiful ethic on-line homewares shop Decorators Notebook.  Bethan was running a little workshop, showing how to make bag charms or key rings.  So with a glass of fizz in one hand and a pompom in the other my evening was made.

Thank you to Nomads for a lovely evening, and to the brilliant Hels for organising.  Go check out their beautiful store for more ethically made clothes.
