Travel // Bucket list destinations…

Littlegreenshed Blog

2016 – will this be your year to travel?  We all have special places we want to visit in our lifetime, experience new cultures, food and explore cosmopolitan cities.  I did my fair share of travelling in the 90’s but I still get itchy feet and long to travel to far flung exotic shores.

My travel bucket list is long, and varied.  From romantic weekends away with Dan, to full on adventuring with the boys. There is just so much to see and do! Here are some of our must see & do travel destinations for this year and beyond:

Europe:

Italy – A weekend away with Dan to Venice or a beach holiday with the boys.  Either way, I am looking forward to eating lots of pasta, exploring the coastline and hill top villages.

Croatia – hire a small boat and travel from inlet to inlet.  Eating great food and spending our time on the beach.

Denmark – a weekend away with Dan to fully explore Copenhagen, I know I will fall in love with this design led City.

India:

I have always wanted to take the boys to India.  I travelled here back in 2000, and fell in love with the colour, the smells and spirituality of this stunning country.

Caribbean:

Beaches, beaches, beaches!  What more can I say!

Wouldn’t it be nice to get away!  Although saying that I am sure I won’t get to any of them, but it’s good to have a dream.  So, where are your must visit places this year?
