Instagram is and will always be a huge source of inspiration for me. I love how, by following hashtags or threads I can stumble across brilliant people living the life I would want for myself. Living the dream! Crafting the life. One such person is @woandwecollection.
Olivier Abry is based in deep France, that alone makes me all wistful. That plus the fact he has a studio of dreams, an old Renault 4 in the yard and a home that had me at HELLO! Here’s why his Instagram account is this month’s firm favourite:
Wo & We is a design and collection workshop of handmade lamps, based in Villeurbanne, France. Since the launching of WO & WÉ in 2010, Olivier Abry has been working on a contemporary lamp line inspired from industry, composed of articulated and adjustable wall lamps, simple and double arms, and chandeliers.
His work is basically : conception and design of industrial handmade lamps, those pieces of work are unique and customizable, they are made from elements produced by craftsmen from the Lyon area for WO & WÉ.
The goals of WO & WÉ are to offer a wide range of lamps created or selected by Olivier Abry – those lamps are at the same time simple and extraordinary – and to enhance all types of interiors, whether they are old ones or contemporary ones.
Heavenly right? That yard! Those lights! That studio. ALL.
