We yearn for it ALL year, don’t we. Days when we can forget the time, lie on our backs and gaze upwards into the blue. Long picnics in flower meadows or perhaps a swim in the river. Sun ripened fruits, cordials bottled, tan lines on brown feet.
Summer is for the romantic, especially if you live in the UK. Most of us know that those bright sunny days are a few and far between and the reality is we are all wearing our latest Spring / Summer 16′ clothes and blooming freezing!
But, we are British! And brave the rain we will.
I’ve teamed up with Seven Boot Lane, my favourite footwear company ( and local too, based in Somerset) to collaborate on a Pinterest board – The Great British Summer. All kinds of summery goodness is going on, from river swims to strawberry picking. Plus, of course, sharing their AMAZING range of summer footwear.
I have my eye on these – Fennel. The perfect pink pair of sandals I have ever seen! Want.
So, tell me, what is your idea of ‘The Great British Summer’? Please leave a comment below with a link to your pin, and I’ll pin it to our board! Exciting!
