When I first saw pictures of this home on Jeska’s instagram feed I was actually on my first visit to the Lake District. The beauty of the Lakes, married with the stunning images of this home had me all in love.
The stunning lakeside home was completely redecorated (and in most places rebuilt) by Field Day Interior Design Studio, with interior decor that takes inspiration from the breathtaking surroundings.
The mix of vintage finds, clever decorating styles and unique colour pallet makes this home truly special. Combined with Field Day’s interior talent, Jeska’s styling and Dean’s photography skills had me fall in love with every single room.
Let me show you more….
Large french doors out into the garden with views over Coniston Lake. Oh how wonderful it must be to wake up to that view every day.
I love how the house has almost dictated how it should be dressed. With vintage finds, alongside contemporary pieces. This is definitely a home that will be used by a family on holiday. A beautiful nest of a place, like a home straight out of the pages of Swallows and Amazons.
The kitchen has my heart. I suppose it is because we are currently living in a building mess. Those lampshades above the large wooden dining table add a touch of French farmhouse chic. Jeska’s styling is apparent throughout, with touches of botany and dreamy places to linger and read.
Upstairs the bedrooms are simply decorated. Washed linens on the French rattan beds. Seating areas and the prettiest en-suites ever created. The colour of that tongue and groove is so pure genius, something I would have never of chosen.
It is my ultimate dream to one day own a little house like this. Full of vintage finds, worn wood and gentle decor style. A place to relax and enjoy the beautiful views, listening to the sound of my kids in the garden. Oh how delicious would that be?
Thank you to Jeska and Dean for kindly allowing me to share this beautiful space. More information on this property please visit Field Day Studio for more information. Can you please come and design my place?!
