Sisterhood // Spring workshop May…

So we are officially in SPRING!  It may be still blooming cold, and chucking it down with rain – but hey, at least Winter is behind us.  Time to look forward to the warmer months.

And so, as Tolstoys quote says, now is the time to plan for things to do in the upcoming months – so if you fancy celebrating Spring and all it’s floral bounty, then I have something you might be interested in…

Sisterhood Spring one day workshop

Saturday 20th May 2017

10am – 5pm

The Forge, Bristol, UK

Join in a celebration of FLOWERS.  As late spring moves through to early summer, this one day ‘retreat’ will honour the beauty of blooms.

  • Our first workshop will be led by Clemmie & Alice of The Theatre of Flowers – Learn how to create a floral ‘chandelier’ from the team behind The Theatre of Flowers.  Who have created displays for The Wilderness Festival, Deliciously Ella and Top Shop.
  • Lunch will be cooked by SISTERHOOD favourite Claire Thomson (5 o’clock apron) – a floral inspired lunch using local, authentic and foraged ingredients.
  • After we have feasted we shall settle down to a photography styling workshop led by the wildly talented Emma Harris of A Quiet Style.  Emma will be teaching us how to master the ‘flat lay’ and create beautiful images to populate your Instagram with this summer.
  • Finally, finishing with a short talk on the power of plants and what is useful during the summer months – this informative talk will be lead by Bristol based Chinese Medicine practitioner, Gemma David.

Optional Extra

Sunday 21st May

Join SISTERHOOD founder and Bristol resident, Lou Archell, on a mornings photowalk around some of the most beautiful areas of Bristol.  Taking the local sights, independent shops and cafes. Before saying our goodbyes.

Come to Bristol. Let us fill your heart with flowers. Learn from the best in the business and get to see this beautiful city of mine.  We are so excited about this one day workshop, I just know you will love it!

For more information on tickets, pricing and anything else.  Please head to the Sisterhood page.

  • Oh I wish I could attend, it sounds like a lovely event! But being situated on the opposite side of the globe presents a bit of a challenge hehe
