Spring is almost here! I can hear a chorus of daffodils chiming in the sunlight! Or maybe it’s just my joy, at finally being able to kick off my winter boots and slip my feet into something lighter. Spring footwear is here to give me a spring in my step!
I’ve been searching the internet for suitable shoes – no heels for me. I am a flat wearing, lass and I like it. I would much rather stomp about in a pair of Nike trainers than totter in heels. When I say heels I am not talking about Manolo’s, no, I can’t even wear mid height heels! I feel and look ridiculous. So it’s flats all the way for me.
So what is cool, comfortable and non Mumsy in the footwear department…
I’m a bit of a trainer fan, in particular Nike… but I’m trying to get out of that rut and move into something a little more dressy. I love theses grey suede loafers from Cara… a simple shape and will look great with some wide legged trousers. I am also loving Teva’s – yes it’s not warm enough to wear these in the UK, but if I was to jet off to somewhere warmer, I’d definitely be wearing a pair of those.
I recently went to London, and found myself checking out footwear on the tube (that’s normal right?) – I saw plenty of Stan Smiths and Converse high tops. These will never go out of style.
So what are you wearing this Spring? What are your favourite go to Spring footwear?
