Arriving in Malmo again, I couldn’t have been happier. I have fond memories of exploring this City last year with the Visit Sweden gang, so it felt great to have the opportunity to bring the family here.
We were kindly offered a night stay at the beautiful Hotel Duxiana, a short walk from the central station with views over the river, and out to the docks.
With the hotel being so centrally located, we nipped out after check-in, to wander the pretty streets of Malmo. First stop was the gorgeous boutique of AB Smaland, and then onto Florista. Finally on to the indoor food market , Malmo Saluhall where we enjoyed a stone baked pizza and listened to some tunes.
The following morning we had a continental style breakfast at the hotel. The boys feasted on hard boiled eggs, croissants and smoothies. Whilst Dan and I enjoyed yogurt and fruit, followed by scrambled eggs and bacon on toast.
Sadly, we had to check out after just one night, and on to our next adventure north of Malmo city. More on that in another post.
