Zara Home in the past wasn’t my first port of call to buy anything for the home. In fact it used to be full of shiny fabric and frilly things. But this new season see’s it take on a more minimal vibe – Zara Home has just got cool!
Full of washed linens and simple crockery the new collection has a Mediterranean vibe, think Greek taverna or a Spanish finca. I adore these wooden handled cutlery sets – perhaps not dishwasher safe, but who cares when forks can look this pretty! Right?
More importantly than how cool and design led everything is. I LOVE the styling. The colours, textures and angles of the images are just perfect.
Golden ochre seems to be a colour trend for Spring, and Zara Home is full of it. What better way to bring in a touch of sunshine yellow than a bright cushion cover to lift your mood. Or add yellow napkins to the table. These black candle sticks are in my basket. I love architectural they are.
Above all – monochrome and simplicity are the key elements to the SS19 collection. Of which I am totally on board with.
What do you love about it? FYI – I’ve bought a checked plate and a set of the wooden cutlery – for styling purposes, so you will be seeing these on insta very soon!
