Interiors | Zara Home, Summer Days….

It seems like I can’t get enough of pink plaster walls and the heat in these interiors edits.  This time it’s the latest campaign from Zara Home – Summer Escape.

Inspiration has been taken from those amazing holidays in the Med, lounging by the pool, shopping at local artisan markets.  Cooling off in the shade of an olive tree.  I AM SOLD. I think I need a holiday, that is for sure.

Let me show you some of my favourite pieces…..

Yes please!  I’ll take this room.  Simple, unadorned, perfect resting place to escape the heat of the Spanish sun.  Zara Home says

Home in the desert

The shoot reminds me of a place I stayed in Marrakesh a few years ago.  The Beldi Country Club… a place where a hotel, hamman and artisan workshops all came together to form an incredible space, with gardens full of grasses and exotic blooms, I fell in love with it.

I’m a little bit obsessed with this shoot.  The styling is impeccable, the location is stuff of dreams – and I WANT EVERYTHING!

As you may know, I’m planning our new bathroom renovation, and I’m hoping to create a Med style oasis.  Think: white tiles, brass fittings, marble, ceramic and rough bleached wood.  Baskets galore – much to Dan’s disapproval to ‘decorative baskets’.

So, my favourite pieces from the Zara Home – summer escape edit are:

What do you love about this collection?  Dreamy right?  Or not your cup of tea?  Earthy is a no no? Do leave me a comment.
