Last week, Dan and I stayed at the Artist Residence in London for the night. We were in London for the Amaras #IBA19 interiors award, where I was shortlisted for the ‘best use of photography’ award. Sadly I didn’t win. But that didn’t matter, as we had a lovely hotel suite to stay in, and that made up for not winning!
Our room for the evening was the Club Suite on the second floor of the tall Pimlico townhouse. A large king sized bed, with deep green velvet scallop headboard, soft green walls and leather armchairs. Our suite was large and comfortable.
Sadly, just one night stay wasn’t long enough. Just time for a good night sleep and breakfast in bed in the morning, before dashing off back to Bristol in time for picking the boys up from school.
I highly recommend breakfast in bed, and the soft fluffy fruit pancakes were a winner. If you have more time, pop down to the Cambridge street cafe and have a long brunch.
Thank you to the Artist Residence for making our stay so magic.
