Door number TWELVE reveals the collaboration with the Bruton based lifestyle store, Caro Somerset.
Caro is located in one of my favourite villages, Bruton. A short drive from Frome in Somerst, Bruton has so much to offer. The stunning gallery, Hauser & Wirth, the beautiful The Chapel hotel and restaurant and then just down the High St you will find Caro, a gorgeously curated lifestyle store owned by Natalie Jones.
It truly is one of my most favourite place to visit. Not only does Natalie own Caro the store, but she also has The Space at Caro, an events space and B&B.
The B&B has just one double en-suite room and includes a cooked breakfast at modern British restaurant ‘At the Chapel’.
Bruton has become a hub for contemporary design, food and culture. With everything on the doorstep from country pubs to nurse a pint over, bars to sip a cocktail and some of the top restaurants in the country, you are sure to return home satiated. There are a number of National Trust sights in the surrounding area as well as breath taking walks.
The Hauser & Wirth gallery at Durslade Farm is not only architecturally beautiful but it sits within 100 acres of fields and woodland including a 1.5 acre perennial meadow designed by renowned landscape gardener Piet Oudolf.
Behind door #12:
So, opening up Door 12 – you will find:
A a night B&B for two at the Room at Caro. Including breakfast at The Chapel.
I personally would love a trip and overnight stay in Bruton. Don’t worry about getting to deepest Somerset, Bruton has a train station with direct links to Bath, and beyond. London to Bruton takes about 2.5hrs.
