Style | Jewellery favourites to update an old outfit…

It’s a cold and dark and gloomy January. Most of the time I’m either snuggled in bed in Pyjamas or wearing oversized sweaters and leggings.  But sometimes I feel like wearing something a little more special, but without all the effort!

Enter statement jewellery.  Chuck on a pair of chunky earrings, a large gold necklace and that old bobbly knit will look fabulous.  So what are my favourites…. perfect to treat yourself to some jewellery gifts.

I adore the Estee Lalonde’s collaboration with Daisy London – her ‘Goddess’ collection.  The necklace above has sadly sold out, but this one here is very similar.  For cheaper alternatives try &Other Stories, this one is particularly nice.  Go for something heavy and chunky that will not get lost on an oversized sweater.

Hoops!  Oh yes, hoops are the earring of choice, statement yet laid back at the same time.  These from Daisy London are awesome!  And these go with the necklace above.  OMG and these are so cool. Wear them layered with a simple stud if you have more than one piercing.

Hair Clips

A pearly hair slide or a velvet hair band can hide a messy hair do.  Even if you aren’t leaving the house or can be bothered to wash your hair. Add a slide and you will instantly feel better.

There is a rule of 3s in style, only to wear three things.  So jumper, leggings and a necklace it is then!  Begone January blues, my accessories are coming for you!
