Shop love - From my bear hands

Hello lovely people!
Every Tuesday I am lucky enough to work in Paper Scissors Stone Volume 4 - an artists temporium here in Bristol. You might remember I mentioned it here.
So each Tuesday I leave my 2 boys behind and scurry over to the most beautiful of shops... I really do love being there.  Gorgeous artwork, ceramics, jewellery and clothing - fill the shops shelves.  The best artists, makers and creatives that Bristol has to offer.  It really is a shoppers heaven.
On a Tuesday afternoon I am joined by the lovely Sally Haysom who illustrates and makes the most beautiful jewellery.  You can see some of my favourite pieces above.
Lovely aren't they?
You don't have to live in Bristol to buy Sally's work she has an Etsy shop too!  Go see.
If you'd like to pop along to Paper Scissors Stone - we are open every day from 10am-6pm - this Volume will end on 25th November. The shop is in Quakers Friars (Near Cabot Circus), next door to Howkapow!
Come and see us.

How are you this Tuesday?  Good?
Today is my first shift at Paper Scissors Stone - the artist temporium here in Bristol.  I am super excited about being in there.  I hope I can sell lots of lovely local artwork and jewellery for everyone!  If you are in Brizzle please pop in and say hi, bring your wallet! :) xx

Today I am back with an Etsy treasury - it's been a while since I've done one.  Yes it's an autumnal snuggle fest! That is how I am feeling at the moment.  (Sorry to you southern beauties who are just coming into Spring!).

Have a wonderful Tuesday, lovely friends!

Shop love - Neest.

Futagami lamp

Scissors Tajika

Enamel teapot

Thick linen cloth

A little break from the norm this Tuesday.  Not an Etsy shop love, but a beautiful French shop called Neest.

Neest is owned by Parisian, Sandrine.  She has collected objects that have a timeless elegant design.  Simple in form and natural in it's material. Highlighting traditional craftsmanship. Beautiful bowls, wooden spoons, enamel wear and linens.  Everyday objects for your home and kitchen... to enjoy daily.

Sandrine writes a stunning blog too, full of dreamy images of life at home in France.  Just makes me want to up sticks and move there even more!

Yes...I think I need some new kitchen scissors and maybe a wooden bowl or two.

Hope you are well.  Life here is getting slowly better... slowly, slowly. I am overwhelmed by the love and incredible support you have all shown - thank you.

This week's shop love belongs to Melanie Wickham.  Mel is actually a good good friend of mine, she lives 100 yards down the road from me.  Charlie and her daughter Edie are in the same class.. and even our allotments are neighbours!  So I kinda know her.. you know?!

Not only is she a great friend, she is a talented lino printer too.  Her latest work is incredible, I think her best yet.  I am loving the natural drawing style of each print... my favourite has to be Bat.  You must have a look at her shop, there are prints, teatowels, cards and tote bags too.

Mel is currently having a giveaway over on her blog.  A chance to win one of four lino prints.  Please hop over and take a look.  Giveaway closes on 30th September.

Etsy shop love ... Karolin Schnoor

This weeks Etsy shop love belongs to  - Karolin Schnoor.
Karolin Schnoor is a German freelance illustrator and designer based in London.
Her website and Etsy shop say little about her, but all I know is I like what I see!
Folksy / Scandi graphic illustrations in a monotone colour pallet.
Gorgeous aren't they?
I am coming round to monotone... I used to be all about the brights.  But just lately I am loving simple clean lines that do all the talking.  I think this lady and this lady have a lot to do with it.  Just follow their Instagram feeds and you will understand!
What do you think?  Are you loving it too?

Tuesday Etsy Round Up is coming to you a little earlier this week - I couldn't wait to show you this great shop I've discovered.
Nell and Mary is based in Portland, Oregon. Making gorgeous screen printed items.  Cushion covers, tea towels and place mats.  Each item uses salvaged scraps of fabric and water based inks.
I particularly love the umbrella print placemats and the cats cradle cushion cover... yum!
