Hi there! This weeks favourite image belongs to c_colli. Christina always produces stunning imagery on her instagram account, each week I am wowed by here flare and creativity. She is a still life stylist and photography, so she should be good at it, shouldn’t she? :)
This year time has slipped away from me :( and I haven’t been able to make the boys an Advent Calendar. But I’m not going to sweat it, my boys have lots of great things lined up in the next month, so not having a ‘handmade’ advent calendar isn’t going to be a disaster. In fact, letting that pressure off myself has made me feel so much better. Honestly, as a woman and a mother we have enough bloody guilt
I’ve thought about writing this post for the past couple of months now, wondering if you wanted to know about my personal struggle with my hormones. I know many of my readers are nowhere near this point in their lives, but many of you are, so I hope to help with this post. Here goes. The Menopause, for some reason, is still an unspoken word. A ‘thing’ that women go through hidden struggling in silence. Although I am still a
Tomorrow officially marks the Autumn Equinox, the first day of Autumn, hurrah! I adore autumn, the light, the colours, the misty mornings. I find in Summer I can’t think, I become anxious that I should be ‘out there’ soaking up the sun… when in reality summer is more about working around the school holidays and then child minding. The colour of the hedgerows, slowly, slowly turning through all the shades of rust until they fall, lying there waiting to be kicked and thrown by laughing kids. But before
There are many ‘stand-out’ moments in my blogging career, but nothing tops Cannes. What a place, utterly magical, bonkers and beautiful in equal measures. I was lucky to be invited by Nespresso to the Cannes Film Festival, to walk the red carpet and experience the glitz and glamour of this famous event.
The very word ‘Restoration’ brings to mind two things. 1. doing up wrecked buildings and transforming them into beautiful homes (very George Clarke) 2. Restoring oneself to a place of calm. Although my home, probably could do with a team of cleaners, it doesn’t need a restoration to save this old house. But I, on the other hand, could do with some looking after – a definite restoration project here. I believe that a shift in habits and mixing up
