I’ve finally found time to edit some more of my Swedish adventure. In particular focusing on the City of Lund and the Skissernas Museum. Lund is situated about 30 minutes drive North from Malmo. It is a large University town and reminded me very much of Oxford, with it’s grand buildings, and bicycling students flocking the streets. On our little tour, Lund was our second overnight stop, staying at the aptly named The Grand Hotel. Very Wes Anderson-esque in style,
Last month, I visited Skåne in southern Sweden along with a small group of other influencers – Sarah Akwisombe, Abi of These Four Walls and Kimberly of Swoon Worthy. The trip was hosted by Visit Sweden and Visit Skåne, with the aim to share the design aspects of this little discovered region of Sweden. A short travel photo journal of our weekend in Paris. We fell in love.
It is no secret that I have an unending love affair with France. Yes, the love is strong. Everything, the food, the hill top villages, the brocante, the weather – all. In love. So when my pal, Justine of Harp Cottage, asked us to stay in her place in France – I squealed with delight!
There are many ‘stand-out’ moments in my blogging career, but nothing tops Cannes. What a place, utterly magical, bonkers and beautiful in equal measures. I was lucky to be invited by Nespresso to the Cannes Film Festival, to walk the red carpet and experience the glitz and glamour of this famous event.
If you were to ask me my thoughts on Vienna, well I would probably have said Waltzes and Opera. Cliche I know, but what I didn’t know about it was just how beautiful and incredibly cool it was. With boutique pop up shops, vegan restaurants and inner city re-greening projects. My eyes were truly opened.
