Half way through the year, and flowers are predominately filling the nature in the home feed. I’m certainly not complaining as I adore blooms, we all know that. Roses, Peonies and sweet peas… this really is the best time of year. As soon as I saw this image I sighed. The minimal colours are really doing it for me at the moment, a calmness. White roses, simple ceramics and rustic wood, what’s not to love! I wish this was mine…
Last weekend was pretty special – I might stop going on about Sisterhood Camp one day :) So many talented women in one field, and sponsored by some gorgeous people too. Emma has shared this image for this weeks #natureinthehome and it features the ‘Foragers Necklace’ by the talented Emma Mitchell aka Silver Pebble.
A quick pop in today, to share my favourite #natureinthehome weekly pick. Armfuls of beautiful roses by @throwingpinecones. Such colour and beauty! My own roses in my garden have just popped out, I can’t wait to pick and pick over the summer months. I am currently in a list making and packing frenzy. Sisterhood is tomorrow and I cannot wait! Follow our adventures on Instagram #sisterhoodatloveland. You can read all about it over on the Toast blog – who are
Hi there! This weeks favourite image belongs to c_colli. Christina always produces stunning imagery on her instagram account, each week I am wowed by here flare and creativity. She is a still life stylist and photography, so she should be good at it, shouldn’t she? :)
Morning! Nature in the home is becoming huge! Thanks to you all! I cannot believe we have nearly 8,000 entries over on Instagram, it is truly a wonderful thing! With more and more new people joining me each week. One new person is Poppybarach, who lives in the USA. Her instagram feeds is full of natures beauties, a girl after my own heart. As soon as I saw this darling watering can filled to the brim of fresh spring
Hello! This weeks favourite Nature in the Home image belongs to the most brilliant hair stylist @kojoandlee. In a world of Easter pastels and spring blooms this really stood out to me. That beautiful rough wall, the simple old pitcher and twisted witch hazel stems, seemed utterly timeless and stunning. Nikki-Lee is part of that uber cool Sheffield set, friends with Swallow & Damsons and India Hobson. I need to take a visit up to Sheffield and let Nikki-Lee loose on
I’ve got a bit of a thing for table and chair views at the moment. The past few weekly picks for my nature in the home series have been quite similar. Perhaps I am drawn to the calm serenity of them, or the fact that I would love to be sitting there right now. This image is so pretty. A bunch of garden foliage on top the rough hewn table. And that House of Rym cup and saucer set ready
Hello! Such a beautiful sunny day, March is turning out to be pretty gorgeous (in Bristol anyway). I hope it’s sunny where you are! This weeks favourite image belongs to Cate St.Hill. Her photography is just so minimal, perfect and beautiful. I love this shot, these two succulents in their white vintage containers, set against the white backdrop and that Ercol chair… in love!
