Oh look at how calm this image is. I adore white flowers and this arrangement by @createandbalance is just perfect. White blossom & green foliage in a simple vintage white blossom. These stairs are very much like my own, bare wood and painted white – traditional Victorian style (that was hidden by heavy carpet). When we moved into our house, we ripped out the dated smelly carpet and stripped the floors, leaving the stairs like this. I love it. NO
Such a beautiful simple scene. That black wall and the light on the little jug is just stunning. Filled with early spring buds and catkins, it was love at first sight! A perfect nature table. I must go gather some pussy willow before it’s all over. Have you been foraging also yet? I’ve spotted blossom too, the black thorn is at its peak at the moment. Spring is truly here! Can we say that yet? I don’t wish to jinx
I adore these jugs, they can be used for any number of uses, from flower arrangements, umbrella stand, planted up in the garden or for water on the table. A perfect addition to the home. Some wonderful news! The lovely people at Loaf Home have kindly donated a set of three Girasol enamel jugs to this weeks winner of #natureinthehome. Hello, hello! We are back home from a rather wonderful holiday. Back to my love (my blog). Oh I’ve missed it. The wifi in the hotel was a little hit and miss, so I’ve spent this morning just catching up on the lovely submissions for #natureinthehome. Instantly I was drawn to this beautiful image by @peacheyphoto. Those pretty tulips, so perfectly arranged, caught in the watery sunlight. So beautiful. Hello! Today’s favourite pick for this weeks #natureinthehome is by @ea_wang. I love this image. Not my ususal style, but I love it all the same. A simple leafy plant in a beautiful ceramic pot, taking pride of place on that amazing wooden table. All those natural elements in one shot make this one my favourite. Beautiful hallway & display by Katy @aptapothecary Hello, hello! And welcome to the first #natureinthehome of 2015! Now in it’s 3rd full year, I started this little project back in August 2012, when I shared my love of plants and flowers in an interiors setting. So it only feels fit that I start this year off with the most beautiful display by my lovely friend Katy of Apartment Apothecary. Image by Little Buckles Hey there! Nature in the home has really stepped up a gear this week as we are all gathering greenery into the home. So many beautiful wreaths, stars, pine cones and of course trees! My favourite image of this week was this one of little Bella. Such a beautiful shot, fabulous colours and that simple arrangement of holly sprigs in that white vase… I fell in love. In fact I loved this so much, I showed
