  • It's almost the weekend!!!! . My Charlie is on his way home, currently on the M4 so not long. Yay! It's been a long week without him. I cant wait to hear all about his adventures. . Which I'm sure he'll probably tell me about sometime next month as he will be too tired to talk! 🙄 . Anyway, its Friday! What are your weekend plans?
  • I've woken with a lurgy. A tickly cough, and headache. Plus my skin has broken out in spots. Ugh, thank you Half Term. All I want to do is curl up in bed and read. Current engrossed in The Book of Dust 2. I even dreamt about it last night. Anyway, that's my news 🙄 what is yours? image: bed not mine. Its @hotelvamsterdam from our trip last year.
  • Just because someone is smiling, appears to be successful and have it all, doesnt mean they dont have demons and battles you cant see. Check in with friends. Spread kindness. Dont assume that someone else has done it.
  • My three loves. Happy valentines Day! Especially Charlie who is currently on a coach going through the Swiss Alps heading to a week on snow. Get some sleep!
  • My baby is off on a weeks snowboarding holiday to Italy today, with his school. How on earth did he get so big? One minute he was learning to walk and now hes 14 and off to the Alps. God knows what Dan and I are going to do with ourselves, I cant help being excited, worried, excited, worried! Have the best time Charlie! #whenbabiesgrowup #lgsadventures2020 #snowboarding
  • A throw back to Half Term last February when we were in Amsterdam. What a break that was, we still talk about it as a family. If you are planning in going to Ansterdam, I've created a google map guide which you can take with you! Head to the blog and search Amsterdam, and you can upload the map to your phone.   • Textures.... I cant wait for the green to return outside. I was watching The Stranger on Netflix and couldn't help comment at how green the woods looked. Especially the woods in the final episode. Anyone else watched it? Come on Spring!
  • Hiding from the storm, drinking lots of tea. . Gah, the kids school bus wasn't running this morning as a tree had blown down blocking the road. So they had to get a lift. When will this wind end? Stay safe... p.s. I'm not at The Hox. I'm sat on my sofa under a fluffy cat! tagged items #gifted
