have a great weekend…

The weekend is finally upon us.  I love Friday nights, the promise of two full days to play with.  This evening we have feasted on home cooked Fish Pie by candlelight, listened to Edith Piaf, drank rich red wine, read stories to our boys and had the most relaxed and happy of times.
A long, slow breakfast and then decorating, visiting Grandparents, buying of daffodils, making flapjacks and of course Lego construction too.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend, tell me, what are your plans?
p.s. my February Love List is up – over there on the right.
p.p.s thank you to those of you who have signed up for the February newsletter – you should have had it by now.  I really hope you like it.
  • Cor, your Friday night sounds lush! Ours involved a quiet anniversary supper at home, butternut squash risotto, The Good Wife on the laptop from the warmth of our bed, eating chocolates. Today we’re off for a jaunt in the woods, although it’s a shame the weather isn’t as good as yesterday :(

  • I’m delighted to say that this is the first weekend for absolutely ages that we have no attic to clear. What a feeling. I intend to go to the park with the children and dogs with no agenda and see what happens. There are jobs to do tomorrow – bathroom shopping and clearing some of the stuff that has been dumped from the attic clearout. Have a wonderful weekend.

  • Lovely newsletter! Have a great weekend, hope painting goes well and yum to the flapjacks!
