A few weeks ago I was invited along to Bath for the Independent Bath tour for local social influencers and foodie journos to see what Bath has to offer. The tour was organised by the whirlwind Bath power house, Silvana de Soissons of The Foodie Bugle. It was set to be a day not to be missed.
We all met in Silvana’s own beautiful shop / cafe in the centre of Bath, in a pretty square behind the old spa baths. Sitting there, chatting with fellow bloggers and journalists from London, we all knew that Silvana had organised an exciting day ahead – cramming in the best of Baths independent retailers and food establishments. I couldn’t wait to get started…
In and out of small hotels, pretty boutiques and cafe’s – each owner excited to share their hard work and their love for Bath. Coffee at Society Cafe, lunch at the amazing Acorn restaurant – a sneak peak behind the scenes at Thoughtful bread and Demuths cookery school.
On into Walcot street and a snoop around Melanie Giles hairdressers, Sams Kitchen and Fig store (which I must go back to, to shop!).
