This Spring I’ve changed up my skin care routine. I always find that my skin becomes grey and sallow looking, I think it’s a combination of the cold weather, central heating and lack of sunlight that makes it happen.
So, what have I been using?
The new Boots Ingredients range launched earlier in the year, and it is their low budget high impact range, in direct competition to The Ordinary. The Bakuchiol Serum is a plant-based alternative to retinol, this serum helps skin look rejuvenated. I’ve been using it for the past few weeks and my skin feels softer and plumper, fine lines are reduced.
This Glycolic Acid toner promotes a clear and even skin tone, which helps skin look renewed. This brightens the skin, reduces dark spots and pigmentation. And importantly tackles the grey!
I have been a fan of skin food for years. For me there is no other body lotion I will use. Skin food sinks in well and leaves my skin so soft and smooth. The body butter launched last year, and it is my absolute FAVE! The butter harnesses the powers of plant extracts with soothing Viola Tricolor, Calendula and Chamomile to harmonise skin, whilst Shea and Cocoa butter intensively nourish. Delicately fragrancing skin with aromas of Lavender and sweet Orange, the vegan formula locks in long-lasting moisture to leave skin smooth, supple and comfortable.
TGC102 yuzu has a mineral-faceted citrus scent that lies between mandarin and grapefruit. Designed in Sweden and made in France, this Yuzu organic soap is prepared with natural ingredients only. Pure vegetable oils, cellulose gum, salt and water. No colour, no preservatives, no petrochemicals. Once the soap is ready a selection of perfume oils is infused, one for each variety. A beautiful minimal design of both packaging and the bottle itself makes this Yuzu organic soap not only a wonderful treat for your skin but also a great addition to a modern interior.

I love their skin care range from TangentTGC, a Swedish brand. The YUZU range has a gentle citrus scent. With hand cream, hand soap, body lotion and body wash all in minimal packaging. There are other fragrances to try too; Tulip, Oud, Cedar, Clover and Kiyomi (a Japanese citrus fruit is sweeter than the common orange).
